I. Introduction of the Institute
Being established for over 60 years, the Institute of Engineering Graphics, a loving and dedicated teaching team, has kept pace with the times in personnel training, teaching reform, and the construction of curriculum, textbook, laboratory and teaching staff, accumulating rich achievements with a rigorous teaching style.
Ⅱ. Teaching activities
The Institute’s previous achievements include: the edition of two textbooks at national level and one textbook of the Ministry of Education’s plan to prepare for the 21st century; Excellent Courses at national and Liaoning provincial level(2007); Excellent Resource Sharing Courses at national and Liaoning provincial level(2016); National Bilingual Demonstration Course (2010); First batch of the National English Course Brand for International Students (2013); National Quality Online Open Courses (2018).
Ⅲ. Research Interest
Adhering to the improvement of teaching quality and guided by the modern education philosophy, the Institute is devoted to exploring the most appropriate teaching method of contemporary engineering education in the Internet+ era and putting them into real practice. Based on modern design methods, the Institute makes efforts to figure out the connections between the basic construction of 3D design and the traditional graphics foundation in order to carry out reforms in the curriculum content, obtains practical results, and publishes textbooks.
